Meet Sharon Buck, LMT

imageI am a recent graduate of the Port Townsend School of Massage. I followed my heart and it led me to massage therapy. I feel drawn to helping people and assisting them to feel happier, healthier, and motivated to take good care of themselves. Doing bodywork helps me to connect with the client as well as myself in a very grounded, supportive way. I see myself as a conduit for healing.

I am a musician and have two degrees in music and am a professional singer as well as a voice teacher and keyboardist.  I think massage is, at its core, a music of the soul where the flow, rhythm and resonance of the body, mind and soul are enhanced and harmonized when we allow it. I first found my way to bodywork when I certified in Somatic Voicework -The Lovetri Method (tm)which helped me understand more deeply that singing is a physical and athletic activity, albeit less visible. Massage and singing are both complex activities that have the ability to meld body, mind and emotions into powerful healing modalities.

I am also a Reiki Master, which has been life changing and has helped me in massage, singing and in my daily life.  This deepened my path of clear intent and attuned listening to the body.  The body is a fascinating and marvelous instrument!  This endeavor excites me and rejuvenates me like nothing else has thus far.

I have also recently expanded my knowlege in body work with Deep Tissue training with Ben Benjamin , Lomi Lomi Training and Sound Vibrational Therapy Training and look forward to offering these healing modalities along with my Swedish relaxation and Theraputic Deep Tissue massage offerings.

I am honored and excited to join this wonderful healing team at Soul Serentiy and look forward to the journey ahead and to helping as many people as I can in the process.

I look very forward to serving you,

We are slowed down sound and light waves, a walking bundle of frequencies tuned into the cosmos. We are souls dressed up in sacred biochemical garments and our bodies are the instruments through which our souls play their music.-attributed to Albert Einstein
